Stage 5 Subject Selection
In Years 9 & 10, students will have 2 electives on their timetable. To assist with making their selections, students need to do the following:
1. Read the elective booklet
2. Discuss options with parents/carers
3. Talk to the Head Teacher of the elective to answer any questions about sujects
4. Complete the online application before the closing date. Applications will be emailed to student email addresses..
Students will select 4 preferences, with 1 being the elective most wanted, followed by 2nd, 3rd and 4th preferences.
Please note every effort will be made to give students first preferences however you there is no guarantee so please pick reserve electives wisely.
Stage 6 Subject Selection
The subject selection process for students intending to enrol in Year 11 HSC 2026 – Year 12 2027 HSC will commence Term 2, 2025. There will be three phases in the process:
• Introduction – select subjects for Try a Course
• Try a Course – 2 days Year 11 Course taster lessons
• Selection interviews with Head Teachers and Careers Advisor. Students will submit their selections online.
Please note that while students will be registering their interest in certain subjects during the Subject Selection process, the running of subjects in 2025 will be determined by the number of students selecting that course. While your student may select a course, there is no guarantee that the course will run in 2025.
