Achieving academic excellence
The school offers proactive middle school strategies for students in Years 7 and 8, a flexible timetable and curriculum for students in Years 11 and 12 and the Authentic Assessment program for School Certificate students. Parental and community involvement are key features of the education processes of the school. Kurri Kurri High School promotes individual learning across the curriculum and has established a Learning Centre to facilitate and support this.
