School Uniform

The Kurri Kurri High School uniform policy has been overwhelmingly endorsed by staff, student and parents. Students are expected to wear correct school uniform each day.

The wearing of school uniform is supported by our school community because:

It fosters pride in the school
It enhances the image and reputation of the school in the eyes of the wider community
It provides some security for students by clear identification
It reduces undesirable distinction and competition between students because of clothing

Students who repeatedly fail to comply with the school's uniform policy may be excluded from extra curricula activities and may also be disciplined in line with the school's discipline policy for continued disobedience.

Studio School

Studio School students have elements of their own uniform including a choice of two different polo style shirts that were designed by students.

Studio School students must wear all other elements of the KKHS uiform including shorts/skirt/pants, jumpers and appropriate footwear at all times

Unisex jacket

Fleece lined & water repellent jacket, this jacket is just what students need on their back when the temperature falls.

As a special early bird offer, we are offering the jacket at the special price of $66. Sales of the jacket during this time will ONLY be through the Front Office of the school.

School Shoes

Students must wear suitable hard covered shoes.
For safety reasons, any low-cut type of shoe, sandals, masseurs, thongs or similar slip-on type footwear or open-toed shoe are not allowed.
Students will not be permitted to enter workshop areas such as science laboratories, woodwork/metalwork rooms, kitchens or visual arts classrooms unless they are wearing hard covered shoes. This is a safety issue for all students.
