Creative, Performing Arts and Language - CAPAL - has a focus on fostering creativity, independent thinking and opportunities to flourish in the Arts through engaging future focused programs.

Studying the creative arts students learn to appreciate, compose, listen, make and perform. Each art form has its own unique knowledge and skills, elements or concepts as well as a capacity to inspire and enrich lives.
Students study Music, Visual Arts and Languages as part of their mandatory study in Year 7-10. They also have an opportunity to further develop their knowledge and skills in other forms through elective subjects. Students can then select from a range of courses in Years 11 to 12.

Visual Arts - Students will study and examine the traditional, contemporary, and evolving visual norms present in artworks of various styles and compositions. These encompass a range of conventions, including visual elements, composition, and style.
Music – In Music, students learn about performance, composition and listening through a variety of projects. Students begin with Bucket Drumming, before continuing to develop their performance and reading skills. Stage 4 finish out the year creating their own rock bands to learn a song with an opportunity to audition for the end of year MADD night.
Italian – In Italian students will learn to introduce themselves, talk about their hobbies and personal lives by developing their listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in Italian. They will learn to talk about the weather and plan and organise a party exploring various Italian foods.
Key Events/Highlights: Bucket Drumming, MADD Night, Mini MADD, Clay Making, Italian Pen Pal, Soccer Gala Day.
